Frankie Animal is as luscious as a freshly pressed mojito on a Friday night, filling any room with a sense of "anything could happen...". The band fills all listeners with a refreshing sensation and mesmerizes the audience with their powerful, yet intimate and delicate presence.
The band's sound can be compared to the likes of Mutemath, Arctic Monkeys and Local Natives while the charismatic lead singers' Marie M. Vaigla voice has been compared to Norah Jones.
Frankie Animal is a four-piece Estonian indie rock band formed in the spring of 2012. Despite being a young band they have already earned the recognition of many Estonia's leading music critics. The band first sprung up in Estonia's best-known youth band competition "Noortebänd 2012” winning 8 prizes and being active ever since. Frankie Animal released their debut-EP "Obsession" in April 2014 topping digital music streaming and retailing sites. An important milestone is the band's performance at the biggest music festival in the Baltics - the Positivus Festival in the summer of 2014.
